In Highland Park, California just off the 110 freeway, lies a row of beautiful, old, Victorian homes. They have been restored to their once, lovely glory and every year during the Halloween season, there is a wonderful event. It’s called “The Mourning Tour”,and you can experience what it was like during the Victorian era, to mourn your loved ones, the traditions,etiquette, even participate in a “seance”. All the things people used to do back in the olden days. Makes you appreciate life as we live it now, and it’s also a wonderful piece of living history! This all takes place at Heritage Square Museum, check it out sometime!
